February is known as the month of love.  GOD is known to possess an abundance of love and desires  to share it with others.

The Commonwealth of Virginia, when I was growing up, was known as the state for lovers.

Love, love, love…what is love, anyway?

Love is defined as:

1.  an intense feeling of deep affection; and

2.  a great interest and pleasure in something.

So many people have not been touched by love, or know its true meaning, as they are in search of something unknown, believing it to be love and finding out that it was not.

Then there are also many people who have so much love to share and give that others are elated when they simply enter a room.

Finally, others may want love, have love, lost love, are maintaining love, or can’t hold onto love. That said, in all circumstances, love is what makes the world spin around.  So wherever you are in the realm of love, know that you are loved, and that you want to love others as your neighbor.

Love is not just a word of googly feelings all inside of your heart and body as you slurp up the awesomeness of your someone special every time you see them or hear their voice speaking.  Love is how you treat those around you in the manner that you yourself would like to be treated.

Still, honestly expressing love is a skill  that our world seems to have lost, no matter how much the word is spoken to so many people each and every day.  We tell someone that we love them, then turn around and do not share the challenges that we experience with that individual, or about the things that drive us crazy about this individual in ways that keep us connected to them.

Instead, we usually break all the laws of love by sharing what we don’t like and what we want to see changed in a negative manner.  Life is really too short to want to demand that others change; we must first begin with ourselves, in love, by asking the Creator to help us to love ourselves first, as that individual is also seeking their own love and change within themselves.

As January 2021 has rolled away, allow yourself to open up the door of February 2021 with a new sense of love and how it can look for you and for those around you, including those that you don’t even know.

Let’s help one another get our communities — and our nation — back to a place of love, hope, dreams, conversations, togetherness, neighborly gratitude, and something to look forward to each and every day. Something great can and will happen.  We must begin to love again in order to see a change in our world, our communities, and in our own hearts.

My heart is beating fiercely and it is beginning to feel a change in that time again, love.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Wishing you a wonderful and prosperous day of love, and here’s to a month filled with abundant love unconditional everywhere you go with whom you see as the one or ones you love…..PEACE!
