In my last article, I talked about your health. I discussed different ways that can help you calm your spirit, uplift your mind, and restore your soul. As we are getting our health in order, have you been vaccinated? Are you interested in getting your vaccination? If you responded “yes,” you’re walking down the right path. If you responded “no,” or you are still unsure, please focus your eyes on the following words.
We are living in a state of a pandemic. We have a virus that has been holding us back now for a year. And as we are slowly emerging from a period of shutdown, why would you stifle your tomorrow? Your growth and movement in this cycle of time are so pertinent! Stop falling under the influence of propaganda and the lack of guidance coming from other folks that look like you. I am a witness to it, because that is exactly what I did. This is not the Tuskegee Experiment.
The Tuskegee Experiment was intentionally and purposefully harmful for Black people.;. This is not an experiment, folks – this is real life going on that we have been experiencing for a year now — over a year, really.
We are now learning that the virus is mutating, changing, and taking a different course. A lot of the things that we were doing to help to alleviate this virus may not be taking place as often as they did at the beginning. But remember — we are still walking in the unknown, and we really don’t know what this is. You might ask, “What is that inoculation going to do to me?” I will tell you this; at this very moment, it will keep you alive. That is the true purpose of this vaccination program.
One Sunday morning, while watching Salem Baptist Church services online, Dr. Ala Stanford —so powerfully and humbly instrumental —along with Pastor Marshall Mitchell, changed my life and the trajectory of my path. They shared their testimony and ministered about their thoughts and feelings along with the facts about the vaccine and proceeded to share how they had been vaccinated and were setting the examples for their family and our community. Taking a shot or not, and I chose to take the shot as I have done already and am completely vaccinated.
It is highly recommended that you think about your choices and how they are going to affect, not only you, but your children, their children, your family members, and others. Make a good choice for yourselves folks — you definitely want to get vaccinated. Until next time…..PEACE!

As you look up to the hills from where your help comes, what are you asking GOD to do for you? Whatever you may be experiencing great or small, GOD is the creator and finisher of all things in your life. Reach up to HIM and allow HIM to do what needs to be done in your life. Living in this upside down world can cause you to want to give up and not do what is right. Stay on your mark in your life with the expectation of receiving all that GOD has for you! You are more than a conqueror in JESUS! Read Romans 12:19 & Luke 10:27, and be bold in your walk, saint!
