Waking up, day after day to news that breaks hearts and causes tears to fall from eyes that are weary, not knowing what may happen next. The minds that are overwhelmed with what is going on all around them in their environment. The very same environment that you sleep in today, you may also be working in today, eating in today, laughing in today, getting closer to your family in today, and trying to find that space to get comfortable in today.
At Times Wondering, Where Am I Living?
The politicians that we have put our trust in and our hopes in as we vote and expect greatness in return, just continue to show their own agendas by speaking words of what they feel one’s heart desires and needs versus what would make a difference in our real life’s daily needs. It is as if there is a game of life happening every day, with our lives as we live together in this nation. As a child, there was a game that we played called “Life”… as we are living in 2020, it appears that this game has become the reality for many of the people of today.
At Times Wondering, Where Am I Living?
Schools nationwide, from the primary grades all through to higher education are attending their classes online with many exceptions and models to follow for learning purposes. Some schools are offering various options for students and their caregivers an opportunity to choose from. Various hybrid styles… one hybrid style is where students can go to their actual school in person for so many days a week and are at home online the other days of that week for their learning purposes. Another option is a boarding school that has a bubble type of learning environment where students don’t leave campus nor does anyone come onto the campus. Kudos for the many ways that institutions are offering opportunities for students so that they can continue to thrive and learn in our ongoing epidemic of confusion.

There is a metaphor talking about people who wear a mask referring to individuals that really are not themselves and put on an heir of whatever they are choosing to be on a given day or at that specific time. The irony today is that we are all wearing a mask, whether we want to or not. The mask today is designed to protect your life and to keep you safe from germs being spread from others around you. Are you wearing your mask each day? Are you masking up for the safety of others? Please wear your mask so that we can live longer days.

Major league ball players in every genre of sports are playing and competing in their craft with empty stands and no live audiences, visibly watching their every move and every play. Never in a million years would anyone have ever imagined no live sports for fans and the die hard enthusiast season ticket holders are really having conniptions of all sorts. So are we really a society of economics or of health and safety? Some players may not have worn their masks and/or were in places that caused them to contract the coronavirus. So for the safety of themselves and their families, several players across the sporting arena that have opted out during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the pandemic and continuing to grow more today and the many days to follow are the crises of the homelessness around the world, an unemployment rate that appears to be the highest ever in history, many newer cases of mental illness due to so many new issues in people’s lives, and the ongoing disparities between Black Lives that do and will always Matter. The world has been truly affected by this new order of how we are experiencing life today.
At Times Wondering, Where Am I Living?
Today is a good day to begin expecting something good to happen in your life and the lives of your family, friends, neighbors, enemies, and yourself! Try to stay focused and positive, as today is a day of newness for everyone so don’t try to be what you are not, remain firm in who you are and in all that you believe in. One day real soon, you will no longer have to wonder where you are living as it will all be revealed… PEACE!
