An inspirational reflection
As the spirits of your yesterday come creeping up behind you, attempting to knock on your shoulder, refrain and know that GOD has been doing a mightily good work in you. You can handle the temptations by removing yourself from those folk and the sheer faith in yourself through prayer and discipline that you can be around and still say “no, thank you.” Don’t let the past interfere with your today, saints!
Unfortunately, too many saints do just that — allow their past to dictate and move their lives. Foremost, do what JESUS would do — forgive! That there alone, saints, will free your life! Open up your mind to more positive thoughts about yourself and others, clear up your visibility when you see others and yourself, and allow yourself to not let the spirits of yesterday to continually creep into your life today! Ouch! That can hurt and feel quite lonely. Free your mind of your stuff and what you feel folk are doing to you, as you are your own enemy!
Read Ephesians 4:31-32 and Philippians 4:6-7. Make a difference today in your life, saints! cj
