Congressman Bob Brady (D., PA) boosted the spirits of the Overbrook Monarchs football team by presenting them with a check for $5,000 to help defray the day- to- day costs of keeping the team together and to help finance their road trips.

Sonantonious “Sonny” Moore, president of the Overbrook Monarchs Youth Athletic Association said the team is more than grateful for the continued support of the Congressman. “Keeping a neighborhood team together and is not easy in this economy, but Congressman Brady is always is there for us. Congressman Brady has our back.”
