This common household product can transform your beauty routine

We often think of apple cider vinegar as a kitchen staple used to dress salads and lace tea or as an effective natural medicine used to remedy a wide range of ailments. It turns out that this common household product is also a marvelous, all-in-one beauty product that can round out your beauty routine.
When used in your beauty regimen, apple cider vinegar can help transform you from head to toe. Harsh soaps and shampoos often strip hair and skin of their natural oils, leaving them dry and you feeling uncomfortable. Apple cider vinegar’s acidity counteracts that process and essentially balances your skin and hair’s natural pH levels.
For a product with so many great benefits, its cost is minimal. However, it is best to choose an organic brand of raw apple cider vinegar for the greatest beauty benefits. Here are a few guidelines on how to use apple cider vinegar to get the best results for beautiful hair and skin.
SMOOTHE YOUR SKIN FROM HEAD TO TOE—Apple cider vinegar’s acidity helps to tighten pores and dissolve dry skin. While it is good for your face, it can help create smooth skin. Add a few drops to your body or hand cream to get the smoothing effects over your entire body.
TONE AND TIGHTEN YOUR PORES—ACV balances your skin’s pH and acts as an astringent on oily skin texture. You can use it as a toner before your daily moisturizing routine by creating a mixture of half apple cider vinegar and half water. The vinegar also has natural alpha-hydroxy acids that gently exfoliate dead skin.
SOOTHE YOUR ITCHY SKIN—By pouring one cup of apple cider vinegar in your bath water, its anti-inflammatory properties can soothe itchy skin caused by eczema or psoriasis.
DETOX WITH A FACIAL MASK—To clean your pores of impurities, detox with a facial mask. Mix one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a teaspoon of bentonite clay (or any clay of your choosing). The ACV works to exfoliate and balance pH, while the clay extracts impurities from the pores.
DESTROY PESKY DANDRUFF—Apple cider vinegar has natural antifungal properties and for that reason can help eliminate a flaky scalp caused by dandruff. You may create your own cleansing shampoo by mixing a solution, in a spray bottle, that is half water and half apple cider vinegar. Apply the solution, liberally, to your hair for amazing results.
ADD SHINE TO YOUR HAIR—Remove product build up and add shine to your hair, by using apple cider vinegar as a clarifying agent. After thoroughly rinsing out your hair conditioner, apply the ACV rinse, which can remain, giving your hair extra shine.
REMEDY THOSE RAZOR BUMPS—By dipping a cotton ball in undiluted apple cider vinegar and wiping it over razor bumps, you can soothe the ache and disinfect the area. ACV’s anti-inflammatory properties will reduce any redness, and the acidic pH will help eliminate ingrown hairs.
MASK ODOR OF STINKY FEET—Because vinegar is an antifungal, it will help mask the smell of stinky feet. Prepare a foot bath by adding one cup of ACV in about four cups of water. After a 15-minute foot soak, your feet will feel and smell refreshed.
CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP TOOLS—A mixture of soap and water can adequately clean your dirty makeup brushes. However, you can take an extra disinfecting step by soaking your tools in a solution of water and vinegar.
