Joseph Barrino told RadarOnline that his daughter, former "American Idol" winner Fantasia, is doing much better after her August 9 alleged suicide attempt. She's staying on her own and is taking care of her daughter, Zion, who was previously staying with Joseph and his wife while Fantasia was hospitalized.
Last week, my main girl, Vivica A. Fox's boyfriend, Slimm, sent out press releases about the status of their relationship. First, he said they broke up. Then he said that they're still together and Vivica is an important part of his life and he would never try to hurt her. Well, I reached out to Viv, and, here's what she has to say: "Slimm and I are fine. All relationships have their ups and downs. I'm so proud that Slimm was man enough to clear up the air. He is a very good man with a great heart. That's why I love him." Meanwhile, Vivica's career is on fire. She is the voice of Angel Dynamite on the new "Scooby Doo 4" on the Cartoon Network....she is also in the upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie "Farewell Mr. Kringle: and is producing and starring in the touring stage play "Cheaper To Keep Her" with Brian McKnight. Plus, her wig line, Super Star Hair, is turning it out.

Tongues are wagging that Jamie Foxx took his personal set of paddles to SPIN Hollywood, the ping-pong club inside L.A.'s Mondrian Hotel. The Academy-award winning actor took to the tables for two hours of furious, late-night playing as he joked with partygoers.
One of my favorite actresses, Sharon Leal, is returning to television. A series regular for four years on David E. Kelley's "Boston Public," Sharon went on to star in the hit films "Dreamgirls," "Why Did I Get Married?" and "Why Did I Get Married Too?," and my favorite movie "This Christmas." This fall, look for Sharon on the new CW series "Hellcats," premiering September 8. Sharon will portray Vanessa Lodge, head coach of the Hellcats, who must take the college cheerleading team to the championship in order to keep her job, all while balancing a love-hate relationship with the school's football coach.
