Eagles Wide Receiver Jason Avant to join Rep. Kenyatta Johnson for the ribbon cutting ceremony of With This Ring wedding chapel

Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Jason Avant and State Representative Kenyatta Johnson joined Entrepreneur and Businesswoman Michelle Vann Thomas, owner of With This Ring Wedding Chapel (WTR), the first African-American owned wedding chapel in Philadelphia with the official opening of its new office on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 6:00 pm.

 

The official ribbon cutting ceremony, took place at 1307 Vine Street. The ceremony was held between 6 PM and 9 PM.

 

Michelle Vann Thomas owner of With This Ring says, "Despite a down economy, I believed now is the perfect time to start my business." With This Ring will provide matrimonial services to couples and families when employment, illness, or finances do not allow for the "Cinderella Wedding." With this Ring offers families an alternative to a traditional church or Justice of the Peace ceremony. WTR provides a large variety of services to compliment the Bride and Groom in making their day elegant and affordable.

 

"With This Ring was birthed from the observed need for an entity that is consistently dedicated to providing a wedding alternative for couples that is as affordable as Las Vegas, has the glamour of Hollywood, and be conveniently located in center-city Philadelphia. Mrs. Thomas utilizing her faith, invested her personal funds, which is well over $10k and her education to ensure the success of With This Ring. She has been planning weddings, including floral arrangements, catering, custom designed favors and chair covers for nearly twenty years.

 

Thomas concludes, "Our wedding chapel is reasonably priced, fully decorated and we also provide a chic cadre of supportive wedding accessories; photography, limousine, counseling, video or CD of ceremony everything to make the perfect day, perfect."
