I hear that all of Philadelphia was abuzz with the news that five-time Grammy winner Yolanda Adams took her popular Health and Wellness Tour to the City of Brotherly Love last weekend, thanks to Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The tour features the Novartis hypertension awareness campaign, "Believe in Healthy BP" which Yolanda is national spokesperson for. Now with 75 million Americans and an estimated 40 percent of African Americans having high blood pressure this is definitely a timely initiative. The tour is making stops across the country all summer long including Philly last weekend and then Atlanta, Indianapolis, Dallas and Los Angeles. For more info go to BelieveinHealthyBP.com.
