SWV made their comeback at the Grammys in gowns created by Ty’ron Perrin of the Marquette Collection

After winning her seventh Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video for “We Found Love” on February 10, Rihanna changed into her fourth outfit of the evening, a white long dress and beige cashmere coat with a fox collar, and, headed to the Island Def Jam 2013 Grammy After Party held at Osteria Mozz restaurant in L.A. Rihanna left that shindig to meet up with Chris Brown at the Supper Club. Changing from his white tuxedo into a black suit with gold studs on the sleeves, Chris, and Rihanna exited the second location in his orange Lamborghini.
Sisters with Voices, better known as SWV, made a fierce and bold comeback in Marquette Collection by Ty’ron Perrin at the Grammys. The Grammy nominated trio, comprised of singers, Tamara Johnson-George, Cheryl ‘Coko’ Clemons and Leanna ‘Lelee’ Lyons, made their daring re-emergence back into the limelight in lustrous custom gowns created by Philadelphia bred fashion designer, Ty’ron Perrin of the Marquette Collection. Known for offering whimsical, quality high fashion for the masses with a touch of sass, couture and inhibited chic, Marquette Collection continues to evolve as an emerging fashion house. “It was an immense privilege to dress the legendary SWV in Marquette Collection for the Grammys,” said designer Ty’ron Perrin. “They are beautiful, intelligent, fun. They’re iconic, and each dress is a representation of their unique individual styles.”
Although Lil’ Wayne tweeted that he was kicked out of the Miami Heat-Los Angeles Lakers game on February 10 in Miami for “rooting for the Lakers,” another source says Lil’ Wayne was kicked out for making a gun gesture at a fan. A Heat spokesman says the rapper was not ejected from the game, but instead chose to leave.
Sources say Cedric the Entertainer has closed a three-year deal to replace Meredith Viera as host of the syndicated version of “Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.” Cedric will take over in September.
