"Tis The Season to be Merry", the Philadelphia Club Frontiers International will host their 13th annual day of caring and sharing for the community with an all expensed paid holiday shopping spree, toy giveaway and luncheon for Philadelphia regions at-risk youth on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Target on City Avenue & Monument Road, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

The Frontiers like so many other civic non-profit groups are facing financial challenges due to the economic downturn.

"In the past, the Club has raised enough money to serve as many as 250 children with a $75 gift certificate to use at Target along with a complimentary lunch at TGI Fridays, yet this year, the demand to serve more children has increased and the funds to assist our most cherished assets - our children have diminished," stated Joesph Wells, President of the Philadelphia Club.

Darryl Boozier Chair of the 2012 Shopping Spree adds, "Our goal and mission are to serve the children during this holiday season, many of them will come from organizations such as the local Boys and Girls Clubs; PAL Centers; homeless shelters and the like; we plan to reach our goal, despite the economic shortfall."
