Rapper Nelly threw his girlfriend Ashanti a surprise party to celebrate the R&B songstress's 32nd birthday at Reign Nightclub in Atlanta on October 13. Her guests included T.I. and Tiny, her parents and her sister. Nelly looked carefree at the bash following drugs being found on his tour bus in Sierra Blanca, Texas last week. However, things could get complicated for Nelly, as his associate, Brian Keith Jones, who initially took responsibility for the massive amount of drugs that included 36 baggies of heroin and 10 pounds of marijuana, pleaded not guilty to felony drug charges when he appeared in court. Jones has since been released from jail.
Denzel Washington donned a blazer while attending the premiere of his upcoming flick Flight at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City on October 14. The Oscar-winning actor, who plays an alcohol and drug addicted airplane pilot in the movie, was joined by his wife, Pauletta, and co-stars Don Cheadle and Tamara Tunie. Flight soars into theaters on Friday, November 2.
