Dancing with the Stars runner-up seeks second shot on show

Interview with Kam Williams

Kyle Massey can currently be seen on Dancing with the Stars: The Live Show in Las Vegas at the Tropicana Hotel. The multi-talented entertainer came in second in the 11th season of "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC-TV.

Kyle is also the voice of Milo in the Disney animated series "Fish Hooks". But he is perhaps best known for his starring role on Disney's "That's So Raven" and on its spinoff sitcom "Cory in the House."

Kyle recently starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Life Is Ruff. And he and his brother, Chris, are also accomplished rappers in a group called The Massey Boyz.

Here, Kyle talks about his quest to become the 13th contestant on the 15th season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars: All Star Edition.

KW: Hi Kyle, why do you want to compete in the Dancing with the Stars All-Star edition? After all, you and your partner Lacey Schwimmer were runner-ups in Season 11.

KM: Lacey and I want to compete in this competition more than anything! Being runner-up was amazing, but I think I've picked up a couple skills that would help me win.

KW: How can your fans help you get back on?

KM: Go to ABC.COM and VOTE KYLE! VOTE KYLE!

KW: How do you explain how well Bristol Palin did when you were on the show in spite of low scores from the judges? A lot of people were flabbergasted that she came in third.

KM: Bristol came a long way. Even with the low scores from the judges she made a HUGE improvement. I think she is amazing on and off the hardwood!

KW: If you get back on, will you ask to be paired with Lacey again?

KM: Without a doubt I would want to be paired with Lacey! She's the reason I came in second and I believe the two of us together are a force.

KW: Is there any question no one ever asks you, that you wish someone would?

KM: Yeah, "Where did you find your breathtaking swagger?"

KW: What is your guiltiest pleasure?

KM: That One Direction song about being beautiful. Ha-ha, it's swag!

KW: The bookworm Troy Johnson question: What was the last book you read?

KM: Does Twitter count? [LOL] I think it was "The Outsiders" forever ago.

KW: What is your favorite dish to cook?

KM: Spaghetti!

KW: The Sanaa Lathan question: What excites you?

KM: Parties.

KW: When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

KM: I see someone who wants to go home with that mirror ball trophy.

KW: If you could have one wish instantly granted, what would that be for?

KM: To have the power of Superman!

KW: The Ling-Ju Yen question: What is your earliest childhood memory?

KM: Sleeping under the Christmas tree waiting for Santa.

KW: What advice do you have for anyone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

KM: Just stay focused and always believe in yourself. Keep moving toward your goal no matter what.

KW: Thanks again for the time, Kyle, and best of luck getting back on "Dancing with the Stars".

KM: Thank you so much for the support, Kam. And remember: VOTE KYLE!
