In the spirit of sharing with the community the fruits of their labor, the Philadelphia Club Frontiers International will hold its 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for 200 of the Philadelphia regions youth on Saturday, April 03, 2010 at 10:30 am on the campus of New Covenant, 7500 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.

President Dr. Gregory Stephens and his fellow members have partnered with various elected officials, churches, civic, social service agencies and youth groups from across the city of Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs to have children between the ages of 3 and 10 to participate in a day of fun filled activities, which includes a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.

The children will also have an opportunity to win prizes, receive gift baskets and enjoy a complimentary lunch. In addition, 50 students will have an opportunity to win a United States Savings Bonds to use towards their educational endeavor. Stephens states, "We are unified in our belief that our most cherished assets – our children truly benefit when you have the collective efforts of a committed group of caring and involved volunteers." "One of our many missions is to provide for those in need," continues Stephens.

Established in 1942, the Philadelphia Club is the second oldest and the largest affiliate of Frontiers International. The Philadelphia Club has supported numerous programs including hypertension, sickle cell, scholarships, aid to the homeless, health fairs, career fairs and business workshops. The mission of the Philadelphia Club of Frontiers International, Inc. is primarily to serve children and youth of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley and their motto is "Advancement through Service". The membership consists of individuals from all segments of our community, including professional, business, religious, political, educational and civic leaders.

The Philadelphia Club provides direct support in the form of educational scholarships and mentoring; state-of-the-art technology to increase access to opportunities; grants for medical research and treatment; and limited grants to local organizations and programs that promote social preparedness and improve the quality of life for minorities.
