According to the Internal Revenue Bureau, millions of workers may be unaware of a special federal tax credit that could result in up to $5,751 extra in their federal income tax refunds through the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC.

Eligible workers who earned less than $50,000 in 2011 can have their taxes done for FREE by Pathways PA IRS certified tax preparers. Appointments are available January 27th from 9 AM-12 PM or January 28th from 10 AM-3 PM. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Carol Goertzel, President and CEO of PathWays PA hopes that the opportunity for this free tax service will be widely shared. "PathWays PA's free tax preparation by IRS-certified preparers will save filers hundreds of dollars that can be used to meet families' needs."
