The Limelight Series... with the cast of Makin' it in Philly
Philly has a new reality series! And not one of those drama-filled shows with stars who are usually incredibly poor representatives of real life. This African-American, independently produced show is about entrepreneurship, family, and all the other issues that young black business owners face trying to 'make it in Philly'.
On Tuesday Jan. 17th at there will be a premiere party for the show at Mad River in Manayunk. Admission is free and the crew will be taping for an upcoming episode of the Makin' it in Philly! The show premieres the same night at 8pm on WMCN-TV, and will air every Tuesday. (Click here to find out the channel in your neighborhood.)
So it was only right that I sat down with some of the cast members of this new reality series to get a peek behind the scenes. I wanted to know the who, what, when, where and WHY's of the show.
