Wetv announced that the network has greenlit the original series Tamar & Vince for its 2012 programming slate. The series will showcase Tamar Braxton and husband Vincent Herbert as they navigate their hectic lives, from Tamar's solo album to Vince's busy career as a successful music producer. Wetv has ordered eight, one-hour episodes tentatively scheduled to premiere in fourth quarter 2012, production begins in March. The Huffington Post is reporting that Nicki Minaj was recently recognized with a Teacher of the Year Award, due to her overall influence on the students at South Florida-based school, Better Education Place. The raptress shares the honor with Lil Wayne for reportedly having the ability to "capture and maintain attention." In addition, the hip hop stars were judged alongside actual teachers.
