New Cub and Boy Scout registrations being taken now in Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery counties
Valley Forge, PA– Help your son develop character and make lifelong memories by registering to become a Cub or Boy Scout this fall!
Starting in September, the Cradle of Liberty Council Boy Scouts of America (COLBSA) will begin accepting new registrations to join packs and troops in Philadelphia, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. Local packs and troops will host open houses in September and October making it the best opportunity of the school year to sign up!
By joining the Scouts, youth have the opportunity to have fun, make friends and see and learn new things. Your scout might build a Pinewood Derby car, go on a camping trip or take part in exciting teamwork and community service. Scouting provides an opportunity for youth to become leaders and build their confidence.
Visit www.BeAScout.org to find a pack or troop to join. The closest packs to your zip code are shown with contact and meeting information here. You do not have to register with the unit in your town. Look around and find the best unit to fit your family's needs.
Boys ages 7 to 10 or in 1st through 5th Grades are eligible to register as a Cub Scout. Boys ages 11 or older can register to join the Boy Scouts. Registration is open year-round.
