Ann Elizabeth Abney Martin, mother of WURD host Thera Martin passes away

The SUN is sad to report that Ann Elizabeth Abney Martin, the mother of WURD Radio’s Thera Martin passed away on November 8.

Funeral (Celebration of Life) services will be held on Thursday November 16 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church at 57th & Race Sts. Viewing will be 9am to 11 a.m. Service begins 11 a.m.

Our prayers and condolences are with the Martin family.
