All Signs: Ah yes, this trend continues with Mercury, Venus and Mars all in Virgo. Plus the New Moon on Tues./Wed. is in Virgo (the only New Moon in Virgo all year). Each New Moon offers us a chance to make resolutions to improve our lives. Wherever that New Moon falls in your chart, that’s the area to concentrate on because it will give you the best results for your efforts. Read on to see where this New Moon takes place in your sign. Of course, there is always the shortcut method, which is to follow the advice of youthful Lucille Ball, “The secret to staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.”

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This week you’re gung ho to pull your act together so you can take it on the road. You’ve decided it’s time to shape up! Not only are you going to make an extra effort to do things that are better for your health, you’re also going to work harder so that you can be better organized at home and better organized at work. Oh yeah, we’re talking the whole enchilada. In fact, things will go well at work because you are going to be hands-on practical. Trust in your ability to do these things i.e. improve your health, improve your job and the way you do it because you re destined to get a better result. People are praising you and you love it!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This gaggle of planets happening in Virgo is good news for you because you are both Earth signs. This means everything fits nicely. This kind of energy cooperates and reinforces itself. For Taurus, this lovefest is taking place in the part of your chart that is all about parties, vacations, romance, the arts, sports and playful activities with children. Yes! The fun stuff! This is still a great time for you to go on a vacation. Romance is definitely blessed. Accept invitations to socialize because you will be in top form. Sports events will be successful and even your parenting skills are right on target. Way to go!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Your heavy-duty focus continues to be on home, family and your private life. You can’t escape this! Therefore, how appropriate that the New Moon is taking place in this part of your chart, which means you have the best chance all year to make some resolutions about how you want to improve your home and also how you want to improve your family dynamic. Be specific in your mind. Write down five things you wish would improve or change for the better. This helps you focus on what you want to achieve. Repairs and redecorating will flow smoothly. Family tension is likely because there is lots of activity at home. Don’t worry, this too, shall pass. (Especially if you drink a lot of water.)

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is a busy week! Many of you are taking short trips. Others might be studying and reading more. All of you are enjoying the beauty of your daily surroundings and also the discovery of just how much love there is in your life. Yes – this gives you a warm feeling in your tummy. It doesn’t mean you’re a was. Au contraire! With Mars in your Third House, you are a bold communicator which will be evidenced in your ability to sell, market, teach, act and write. Indeed, this New Moon urges you to be more aware of your style of communicating with others. How can you improve? Do you listen to others? When you speak, do you make sure that you are understood?

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This week you’re focused on money. Money in – money out. For starters, you’re full of moneymaking ideas. (That’s Mercury.) You want to buy beautiful things for yourself and loved ones. (That’s Venus.) And you’re working hard to earn money as well as spend it! (That’s Mars.) In addition, the New Moon is in your Money House as well. Oy! Use this New Moon energy (lasts for 48 hours) to make some resolutions about your finances. Can you see a new way to earn money? Can you curb spending? You might make a serious purchase. Contrary to your spendthrift reputation, you can be a good money manager. (Henry Ford was a Leo.)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

It’s still all about you, isn’t it? Venus in your sign makes you charming, diplomatic and sociable. It also gives you a great chance to shop for wardrobe items. (Take advantage of this.) Mercury in your sign makes you articulate, eager, curious and talkative. You will put a lot of yourself into what you say. It also gives you an urge to travel. Mars pumps your energy and encouraged physical activity. It can also make you strident and bossy. (But ah ha! – fair Venus will soften this tendency.) Because the New Moon takes place in your sign, take a realistic look in the mirror to see how you can improve your image. Ideas?

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

All this Virgo activity is taking place in a hidden part of your chart but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t affect you.  Au contraire! It means the influence is less obvious to others. It also means you’re doing some soul-searching. Mystical, spiritual disciplines will particularly appeal because you are seeking answers. Many of you are involved in secret love affairs well. And if not a love affair, you are still doing something either underhanded or privately. The New Moon urges you to explore an inner approach that helps you feel more grounded and prepared to meet your future. What happens on the outside always depends on what happens on the inside. No?

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Your popularity rating is still high because of all these planets in one sign. This means you will totally enjoy schmoozing with others. In particular, you will be attracted to and enjoy the company of artistic, creative people and younger people as well. You might also be attracted to art and the beautiful creations of others. Physical activities with groups, even competitive, still appeal. You are so pumped, you might want to direct the affairs of others because you’re in a take-charge frame of mind. The New Moon urges you to think about your friendships. Do you hang out with quality people? Never underestimate how much your friends influence you and your future. That’s a fact.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Three planets plus the New Moon are taking place at the very top of your chart. Hello? People notice you! That’s a given. Fortunately, Venus makes you look mahvelous to everyone. You look smooth, perceptive and charming and capable of offering advice about design, aesthetics and beauty. Mercury makes it easy for you to talk to bosses, parents and authority figures. They will listen! And Mars continues to rev your engines and stimulate your ambition. (This is not a casual influence. It occurs only once every two years; and each time lasts for about six weeks.) This means you have an amazing window of opportunity right now to go after what you want, and to do so quite successfully!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You need a change of scenery. Someplace classy. Great room service. Of course, there are different kinds of Capricorns. Some are back to the land – other are back to the hotel! (You love luxury and labels; and yet, part of you likes to tough it out in an austere environment. “I’m a survivor!”) This continues to be a great time to explore opportunities in the media, publishing, the law, medicine and anything to do with higher education. You might also develop a crush on someone from another culture. Someone “different.” Meanwhile, the New Moon urges you to explore ideas, methodologies and disciplines that intrigue you. Grab your I Ching and toss some coins and ideas around!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Lots of high finance and wheeling and dealing are going on now, which is why you are so focused on inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt and anything to do with insurance. (Insurance – that figures.) This planetary influence can also put you in the driver’s seat when it comes to getting a loan or a mortgage because you can benefit from the wealth and resources of others, including financial institutions. (Or your Mom.) Curiously, this same influence really amps your sex drive! Money and sex – a heady combo, indeed. The New Moon is your chance to think about how to handle these financial matters better. It is also an opportunity for you to explore your own sexuality. (“I know I had it when I left home.”)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Three planets plus the New Moon are opposite your sign, which makes you feel like others are opposing you – because in a way, they are. However, this opposition is your chance to see how you relate to others. The New Moon is also opposite you, giving you a chance to observe your style of relating so that you can see how to improve each relationship. Admittedly, Mars opposite your sign makes you impatient. But hey, this is your opportunity to practice patience. Anyone be can patient sitting somewhere alone. The true test is living with someone! Richard Pryor was right. “Marriage is really tough because you have to deal with feelings and lawyers.”
